We stayed one night. Waste and water. Past 1st car park dowm sandy road to 2nd car park, sharp left into large Aire. I would have thought tight for bigger vans but plenty biggish vans in the aire. Can set up awning and chairs etc. Cycle, beach and walks from here. Busy tourist town. We arrived 3pm Sat afternoon. Got a space, busy and popular.
we turned up to find that we couldnt even get on the area due to hight restrictonsView all reviews by BarryEvans
First part of tarmac now for cars, follow camping car signs past the tarmac area towards the second part as described. Turn left just before height barrier. Large marked plots, separated by hedges. Plenty of space when we arrived at 3.30pm. Just off beach, 5 min cycle ride into town. Plenty of walks from the site to see flamingos and other wetland birds. €13 per night, person comes around to collect money in the morning.View all reviews by gailsmith
Don't know what is happening here but it was empty and barriers down. not a single Motorhome. we stayed here 3 years ago and it was full. so went to the one in the town which was very busy with Motorhome's .View all reviews by TupCoxontour
This is an organised 'car park'-type aire right by the beach. The fee was collected in the morning - 13€.View all reviews by billoreilly
Nice walk along the path behind the beach but dogs not allowed on the beach itself. There was a beach restaurant but the menu was VERY expensive!
UPDATE. This aire is in 2 parts. (1) is tarmac, car park style, right by the beach. You look onto a sea wall of boulders but can climb over them onto the beach. (2) is wilder, quieter, parking on sand/parched grass between hedges and trees, but 200m inland. To reach (2), drive right through the car park section to the far end, then continue on the sandy track. Just before the 1.8m height restriction, turn left. After 100m or so, turn left into the rest of the aire. Blissful.View all reviews by alexb64
Not my cup of tea it's just a car park with a view of a concrete wall yes the beach is the other side but not a pleasant stop for 13euros with services of water limited between 9am 12midday. You can not go along the beach road now as it has a height barrier.View all reviews by ronaldgill
Brilliant site next to sea wall close to a wonderful town. Parking of MH close but still very recommended.View all reviews by harvey552741
Good location for visiting Saintes maries de la MerView all reviews by plaskom
Parking very close to the beach but on Tarmac. A bit cramped for larger vans.View all reviews by rambo
This aire is not what it seems: The main part, by the entrance/exit is right up against the sea wall and is on tarmac. It's a large area and can probably take around 100 motorhomes. However, that's not the end of it: You can continue beyond the tarmac area for up to about 2km along the coast road and can stop just about anywhere along there that takes your fancy.View all reviews by martinfa
It is, however, a very popular and there will likely be some 150-200 motorhomes parked along this road. Finding a space can be difficult during the busy months. We were there in Sept 2014 and found a great pitch right near the Eastern limit of where you're allowed to park.
The downside is that you're now 2km away from the waste disposal and watering point back in the main aire, near the entrance!. With 3 disposal points and 350 moho's, it can get busy!!
€10 per night when we were there (2014). A guy drives daily along the length of the coast road to collect fees, so you won't need to head back to the entrance each day. Or you can pay for several days.
