Sat nav took us the wrong way aswell but the signs with motorhomes and arrows are a good indicator. Not as steep imo as suggested. No issues in a 7 metre with overhang. Sun goes down early because of hill and trees. Absolute peace and tranquility. Now has a barrier with cc. 4.50 a night and need to work out how long to stay upon entry. Municipal policce still come round especially when the nosey neighbour rings up about harmless kids on a motorbike. Crime must be low round. Surreys not like thatView all reviews by suavecarve
Access through the village to this Aire is very steep and narrow and our sat nav took us the wrong way and up an impassable road. We are 7.5 metres with a long rear overhang and grounded the rear end whilst manoeuvring on site. Would definitely not recommend this Aire for large vehicles. Night was disturbed by barking dogs from 3 different neighbouring properties. Good value for money but will not be going back here.View all reviews by mobie15

This is a nice Aire, about 500m (uphill) from Cuges les Pins, which is only 45 mins to the coast. The village has a bank, restaurant and a couple of very small supermarkets and Tabac. About a mile to the left on the main road there is a Carrefour Market. You're well away from the village so the only noise is the wind in the trees and the birds. There are two terraces to park on and you will be expected to reverse in because of any potential fire hazards and having to leave quickly. The local Gendarmerie come round to collect your money, around 5.00pm which is now €4.50 and €2 for the facilities. There is a grey waste, drinking water and toilet dump, which unhygienically are all stored in the same cubical and if some unthoughtful person doesn't leave the hose high enough, it's not pleasant. Also the toilet dump hole feeds straight over the ground into the man-hole cover for the grey waste and unless you flush it away, you will see the contents of your toilet right before your eyes. So I would suggest you deposit directly into the man-hole. There are plenty of walks up in the hills around you and a park area, which doesn't seem to be used much by the locals, although great for your dog walks. Definitely a good stop over en route north or south.View all reviews by themotoroamers
