Very pleasant small stellplatz adjacent to park and lake and close to village. Payment by coins or EC card. Fortunately we had enough change. €15 for 24hrs. EHU €1 for 1kw . Walks and cycling round the lake. Seems to be about 18 spaces.

Electric hook ups plentiful pay per kw/hr additional cost.
Great location and a few local cafes and restaurants 5 mins away.
Ferry-boat trip on your doorstep at far end of village as you look out of
the site entrance .

Stayed overnight on our way home from Germany. Good site, only a few others there when we stayed. Only toilets available appeared to be in the nearby tourist office during opening hours. Water, ehu on meters. Good, clean stopover site and nice walks round lake.

Arrived Fri morning. plenty places to choose from. Had to pay at tourist office as payment machine didn't accept visa cards.
Now its 15€ for 24 hours its a bit expensive as this doesn't include electric which is still 1€ per Kwh.
Lots of good walking and cycling from site.

was going to use this as a first night stop after crossing on early morning tunnel and transiting through France/Belgium due uk Covid restrictions. Got here for lunch time but weather was drizzly so decided to push a bit further south. Can pay or get change at tourist info. Not cheap to stay but a lovely area for walking and cycling.

Stayed 1 night. €15 per 24 hours + EHU + €2 for water so not cheap for a Stellplatz. Buy ticket at machine or at Tourist office. The ticket machine only allows German based cards! Tidy site well set out and plenty EHU points. Plenty shade. Great for walks and bike rides plus swimming. Quite a busy site. But good access to facilities...waste etc. watch the slope up into the site bit of a strange cambre. Also one way system on road!

A good stellplatz, set back from the nearby lake, with easy access. The surfaces have recently been improved so all hardstanding and EHU available at €1 per 1kwh. The costs have increased to €15 per night so a little costly but plenty of entertainment, facilities, restaurants etc on the doorstep. Great cycling routes around the lake. Payment machine wouldn’t accept our cards so had to get change from the tourist information Office.
A little tight for space so need care if moving around in a large motorhome however a large concorde model managed to get in and fine a suitable spot. A very popular stellplatz, was full by the evening. No disruptive noise overnight. Would stay again.

A lovely stop. We had thought for just one night, but weather perfect so stayed for 2 to chill, swim in the lake and take in the lovely scenery. Arrived on a sunny Sunday and it was packed, Monday hardly a soul here. Probably busy all the time in school holidays. Lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Good parking area with all facilities nearby.

Fantastic stopover, little else to add that others haven't already said. We stayed 2 nights, swam in the lake and ventured around the lakes on our bikes. Highly recommended

Great motorhome stop, we sataed in October 2017 and the prices quote are correct, fantastic place we had no trouble parking as it was quiet but our van is 7.5 meters long including the tobar bike rack, so i think id avoid this place in summer as would have trouble getting parked.
The place is amazing and would recomend a visit there is a great out door bar about 10mins walk into the village. The hotel Paulashof has a nice pool and charged us 4euros for the full day.

We headed for this site as a one night stop over and stayed for two, would have been longer if the time table had allowed. It is very busy and an early arrival is recommended to be sure of a pitch, there were units parking around the edges on our second night. Tourist information Center is just that, very helpful. The area abounds with outdoor pursuits activity. Foot and Cycle paths are well marked and we managed to walk half way around the dam before returning by the ferry.

A delightful spot near the Obersee and Eiffel National Park. Parking is a dedicated spot for about 15 Motorhomes, larger units may struggle depending on how people have parked. There is a waste disposal point and water but no other facilities. Free wifi is available at the tourist office but was just out of reach of the iBoost. Popular area with walkers and there are guided walks from the tourist office. there is also a ‘beach’ area for children to play around the lake. Electric bike hire available from TO and is a 27km ride around the lake. Very quiet overnight but during day plenty of background noise from people playing at the lake and motorbikes revving it up around the hairpin lanes climbing out of the valley. There is a good vet in the nearby town of Simmerath who charged only 5€ to stamp passports for two dogs. Overall would recommend this as a good place for a stopover.
