Free aire with toilets. EHU needs jeton. 15 mins walk down through the new village to the old village where the 2nd world war massacre happened - dogs not allowed but entrance is free and well worth visiting. Aire is very busy and some parts need levellers. Some nice restaurants etc in the new village. Pitches overlook football playing field.

Easy walking distance to Oradour sur Glane memorial village. Sloping pitches. Get there lunchtime as it fills up quickly. Worth a visit. Free aire. Toilets on site, water and chemical disposal.

Well positioned for the village and memorial. Hard standing pitches, on a bit of a wonk, we decided to get the levellers out. The water had been switched off for winter, but we found a working tap next to the loos at a small car park on the left as you drive towards the supermarket from the old village.

A lovely aire, quiet, level camping. Safe, has toilets and facilities/services. There are fields behind for football and boules and great for walking the dog. Town is 2 min walk with a supermarket near by. A very nice aire and it's free with no limit of stay.

Large purpose built aire for about 30 vans on the outskirts of the small town. Nice town with several shops/cafes. Simply supermarket 5 mins up hill. Clean WCs on site and washing up sinks. Service point 2 euros for water, emptying free. Visit the old Martyr Town which is about 10 mins walk from aire (no dogs allowed). Parked overlooking local football pitch but not too noisy.

Roomy aire on the outskirts of Oradour Sur Glane - this French town is of great historical interrest as the old village has been left exactly as it was after the population was massacred by SS troops in WW2.
You can visit the village for free but the museum tells the story and is 9 euros per person - Pay an addition 2 euros for the audio tour tho its worth it. It takes around 15 mins to walk to the museum and village

The aire has all services plus a toilet block. Water is 2 euro - Jeton required, aire is free

Lovely aire overlooking football pitches but get there early as it fills up pretty quickly. We have been three times and it's always been nearly full. Free and unlimited stay.

Stayed June 2016. Only three other M/Homes here, plenty of room nice and quiet. It does slope somewhat but nothing to worry about. Nice friendly little town. As for the memorial. You have to go to believe it.

Passing nearby we decided to pay our respect at Oraadour Sur Glane. Mans inhumanity is amply illustrated and we were left with a feeling of great loss. The aire offered everything we required and our pitch overlooked open fields. The modern town has plenty of bars and restaurants.

The aires is the opposite end of the village to the deserted village, about a 15 minute walk. If you stop here you must visit this memorial to what happened in WW2. Some things should never be forgotten and this is one of them.

As stated ideal for the martyr village. On our visit the electrics were not working and the toilets in a filthy state. There are cafes nearby for refreshments. After our visit to the museum and village we didn't want to overnight as we felt uncomfortable and a need to leave that sad place. We arrived at midday and there was plenty of space. If you visit you must do the museum first, then when in the village you have an idea what you're looking at. Parking is free.
