A wonderful village aire. DO FOLLOW AIRE SIGNS AS SOON AS YOU SEE THEM. DONT FOLLOW SAT NAV. It takes you a bit of a circular route but avoids the very narrow bridge. Hard standings electric water and dump all for €5.50. Collected in the evening although no one came the night we were there so unable to pay. Probsbly avoiding us due to coronavirus. Wonderful walk around lakes, lovely river and even a castle to walk to ( closed for the eve when we were there)View all reviews by hugsi
Stayed here 16 march during coronavirus pandemic. Lovely and quiet half empty hardstandings ehu. All for €5.50 although not collected on the night we were there. Maybe because of virus?View all reviews by hugsi
Lovely spot next to lake, river and parkland, nice walks with dog. Castle accessed via path between football pitches, worth a look.View all reviews by Wilburt
Lovely bar/restaurant Auberge De La Clouere near castle does nice lunches and evening meals, reasonable prices and very good food.
Bread man around sounds horn 09:30 each morning except Sunday. The local tourist office person comes round to collect camping fee.
Stopped here as a luch stop. If approaching from the N10 as per previous reviews look out for "Access Aire" diversion signs just before village, follow these to take you around the village avoiding the bridge in the centre which has a 2.2m width limit and a 3.5 ton weight limit. Really lovely aire by a little stream. There was a public toilet open also over the little bridge but that could be because it was a saturday afternoon and the sports fields were being used. Hard standing pitchesView all reviews by cartyl
Warning by previous post still valid April 2019.. Repairs to bridge under way. Lovely little stopover with water and 16a ehu. We didn't stop overnight just filled with fresh water.. Can see this would be a lovely quiet spot though.View all reviews by fb1051
WARNING, if your unit is is over 2.1m wide do not follow the sat nav you must use use the diversion route as you approch as the sat nav will take you over a bridge that is very tight, the aires is very tidy and quite, the water is clean and chem loo is basic but available, ehu is unmeatered, someone comes around to collect the fees but not the day is stayed, i would use this againView all reviews by lapzer
