Near the chateau and town centre. Easy access and level parking. The borne was out of action and the ticket machine absent. Pleasant surroundings adjacent to the plan d’eau and the town centre with the usual commerces was a very short walk. Indoor market on a Saturday. Good restaurant, L’Escapade, does a weekday 3 course lunch for 12.50€ including 1/4 litre of wine. Would stay here again.View all reviews by lonicera
As described, village has a few shops and bars, very tidy. Good Vendee cycle routes, and canoe hire next door. Only us, even in July.View all reviews by southbourne

There are several picnic benches under the trees.
There is a cycle route (Velo) signposted. The lake behind the aire has a child’s playground.
Service point at front of general car park where you pay for overnight stays and electricity. Fresh water, grey water dump and toilet dump free. Motorhome parking to rear of car park close to pleasant lake. Easy walk into village, which seemed a little run down. 2 hotels but both closed, a number of closed shops etc. a good bar in the main square with an impressive view to the castle. A good Italian restaurant in the street adjacent to the Aire.View all reviews by spartans2015
