Managed to get a spot here easily around 3pm mid-week at the beginning of October but it filled up as the afternoon went on. Fantastic walks on the beach for dogs and it was brilliant to see the seals. No services but that doesn't matter at such a great location and also when it's free to stay. FYI this location is listed in the "All the Aires" book as 'Le Hourdel' and there is a completely different Aire listed in that book for Cayeux Sur Mer so we were a little confused about which location we had come to when we first arrived here (having used SFS as the main source of info and for navigation).View all reviews by Shed78

No facilities, not even a bin!
This aire got very busy around 14:00 and was full by 17:00. Short walk to the beach to see the seals. Rubbish sacks can now be put out and collected daily. Lots of bike rides around the area.View all reviews by clarty64
Great aire - no services, not even bins - but tidy and close to the beach. With seals! Protected from the wind behind the dunes, so no view. Good walks around, including to inland lakes/gravel pits with waterfowl and picnic benches. Nice stroll into the town and quay. No shop or boulangerie so take your own supplies.View all reviews by vanessavan
The aire is ideally located for walks over the nearby dunes to the beach, and for a two mile walk along a well maintained track to the nearest fishing village at the mouth of the Somme. The site seems to get busy from 16:00 onwards on most days.View all reviews by mrjonscott

Free parking for about 20 vans, 200. Metres to the stoney beach, seals bask in the beach, cycle paths to the villages and very quiet location.View all reviews by nellyc
