Our first Aire and it was just great. Very tidy. Contrary to a previous report the EHUs were in good condition (except one that had been backed into). There was also a hose with a screw connector for the water in the service area. The taps around the site have very high water pressure so mind you don't get a wash when you use them! Lovely nature area to the side of the Aire which was great for a dog walk. Town itself very shabby. We were the only Brits on site. Still very busy with French van's. Bit of noise from construction site next door but otherwise very quite.View all reviews by pottykins
Surprisingly busy for the time of year. Really nice aire, short walk into lovely town. Looked at the clifftop one too but was a bit windy for us. Enjoyed a ride on the free funicular and some delicious seafood in town. Would definitely return.View all reviews by 3264blanchard
Stayed a coupke of nights, managed to get a centre spot so were able to sit on the grassed area and socialise with our french and german neighbours. Police came to check and made someone leave as they hadn’t bought a ticket. (Good on them) Not far to walk to town, lots of restaurants, moules/frites very popular here.View all reviews by 1302
We've used this Aire for years but over the last few it hasn't been maintained very well. The gardening gets done but the EHU points are falling apart, there is no drinking water supply at the services area although there are plenty round the rest of the site. These are push button type with no thread to attach a hose. The local police used to check the Aire, but the last three times we have been, there have been a distinct lack of police checks.View all reviews by snaly
Full in mid-September. Parking around the centre grass island is flat, the edges are on a slight slope. EHU is included in the price.View all reviews by radioham
Stayed here because the Funicular one was too exposed. Used Services, standard screw adapter needed for hose pipe, all clean and functioning. Electricity hook up was a bonus for us, justifying the 10€ fee.View all reviews by carkey
Used this one because the one on the cliffs was full. Good aire with hook up and decent services. Barrier open but gendarmes visited daily to ensure people had tickets. Unexciting walk into town, so not as convenient as the cliff one.View all reviews by tonyl1956
