Had a one night stop here in preparation for Dieppe ferry the next morning. Ticket machine broken so a free stay. Very busy. Great open views of the sea but has an unkept wasteland feel. The weather was calm during our visit but I'd imagine when its not so nice it could be a bit too exposed to the elements. Sheer drops off the groyne edges so if you have children in the group don't let them go exploring on their own ! Many local shops within walking distance.

Site is open but we're only ones here due to coronavirus. Shame there isn't electric hook up- wouldn't need to fight for it. Ferry home tomorrow.

Agree with previous review - we arrived really late and left early after getting off the ship at Dieppe. Mid-Sept and it was ram-packed. No spaces in the regular pitches but the disabled bay was clear so took that for the night - it was midnight and we’d left by 10am. Bread and pastries van was handy in the morning. Cheapest fuel found in the area was decathlon in the town.

Just stopped here for lunch.
Good location at the lighthouse under the cliffs. Slightly tricky access along pier.
Very short walk to town.

Great spot at the end of the Pier with a short walk to the town & harbour, with plenty of shops & bars to keep you entertained for a good day or two. €6 a night but free for 3 nights if you hold a disabled badge ????

Stayed in late February so not too busy. Can imagine in summer it will be packed. Agree with earlier comments about the design and getting into and out of spaces. Having said that well worth the 6Euro for the location. Not the easiest place to find or to get into. Services were fine, all working etc. Very quiet stop with a nice town only a couple hundred metres or so away. Would happily stay there again.

Not very cleverly marked out and probably designed by someone in the town hall who doesn't know how big motorhome units can be. It's simply a money making machine. Also you need to reverse into the spaces on the long parking lot which means that with a UK unit caravan doors open onto the neighbours.
We moved on and spent the €6 at a more organized spacious Aire.

Visited early June arriving midday, very busy lucky to find space. Spaces are very tight. Ticket machine is in French and English however few of us Brits and Germans had our cards declined. In the end persuaded a French couple to use there card and gave them the 6 Euros in cash.

Great cheap stop a short walk from a lovely seaside town, rich in history. Nice grassy picnic area. Can see would be competition for space in high season. Access road almost closed by fall of crumbly chalk cliff - but no real danger. Beach 100% pebbles. Walks to wartime memorials on cliff tops either side of harbour.

Wish we had stayed here instead of the campsite which was very nice but long walk uphill. Very busy Aire and parking is very tight but the location is great as it's so near to the town. Town is small but very pretty and worth visiting. Will definitely use this Aire on an any return visit. Feels very safe.

Already identified as a great spot so a little update - I confirm the site now charges every day all year round AND local police visit!. The demarcation lines have been widened to allow turning room to manoeuvre in an out and makes it a lot easier and you're not packed like sardines.. but it means less spaces available!! If winter access is restricted due to high tides, we went AT high tide and the access road was under a foot of water with regular waves spilling over the harbour wall in front of the Edward 4th house, but no barriers and drove through with no problem, but taking care, of course! Site is still great VFM

Wonderful spot, places overlooking sea full, even midweek in March, but other pitches decent enough views too. Free to stay weekdays in March when we were there. Service point being replaced so no water or electric.

Another great aire on the north coast!
Note that payment is now made at the machine by the service point and is by bank card only - 6 Euros/night for parking and 3.50 Euros for services. Payment is now required for parking every day throughout the year - and the municipal police do come round to check!

Great location in a picturesque harbour town. Parking is pretty tight depending on your unit for some spaces, usual spacing, but a wall is opposite some of the spaces. This is right on the pebbly beach and is a short walk to the restaurants and shops in the town. Service point requires tokens from the tourist office just in the town.

Fantastic spot - get there around 10am and be prepared to wait. Very popular with some imaginative parking at times. Close to town, beach and harbour, great for watching boats come in and out.
