Perfect location for exploring Chamonix only 5mins to Chamonix centre (Tourist info) Town family friendly . Very busy in August , so get here early in morning or late at night to get space. Poor facilities, only Chem disp and awful public loos (smelly , urinal out of order . No height restrictions at moment (August 17) . Lovely views of Mont Blanc . Ride up in cable car expensive €200 for family

Superb Aire. Fantastic location. Couldn't get closer to the town or cable car. Do the cable car, it is worth the cost!

April 2017. Height barriers pushed aside so ok for motorhomes at the moment. But NO water or open toilets, they are graffitied and look shut down. We emptied the toilet cassette but no water to wash it down.... smell from grate not nice. Fantastic location. €14 for 24 hours.

We stayed here in August of 2016 and no height restriction and probably 50+ Motorhomes. Difficult to find space during the day but empties out after about 6. Quickly fills again in the morning. No facilities to speak of. For easy access to Chamonix and the Aiguille Du Midi cable car, this is spot on. Had a good nights sleep and enjoyed watching the youngsters ski jumping under the cable car in the evening. Some nice views, but very busy.

Confirmed April 2016 height barrier in operation. Go further up the road past the rather unhelpful tourist information, make sure you pop in to complain and then you can park along the road on the left hand side opposite the summer luge.

I've just been told by a friend who tried to use this spot in January 2016 that there is now a height barrier across the entrance that prevents motorhomes from entering

A basic car park but in the perfect location. A few minutes walk to the town centre and right beside the cable cars to the Aguile Du Midi, which is not to be missed. No height barriers when we visited.

Ideally located for visiting one of the busiest towns in the Alps. Plenty of trips available but would definitely recommend the trip up the mountain from the 'Aguille du Midi' cable car which passes over the top of the car park (even if was about 70€ for two), but be aware that you are restricted to what time you come back (min 2hr visit) and it gets cold even in the height of summer. Busy during the day but quietens down at night when most of the cars have left. Free wifi available at the tourist office. Would recommend you arrive late in the day to get a space and get a full days sightseeing the following day (cable car starts at 07:00)
