Parking alongside the castle walls, close to town centre. Gravel pitches with picnic tables available. Busy when we arrived in the morning but vans were coming in and out all day. Easy access to cycle along the canal to WW1 historical villages. Plenty of places to eat and drink and a small botanical garden within walking distance.View all reviews by imiles8

Maybe we were unlucky as there were several groups of teens socialising at a high volume and smoking questionable materials from early evening until 1.18 am when the group on the picnic table adjacent to us finally trudged back to town... this being a Wednesday night I dread to think what weekends might bring, shame because the location is perfect.... stay at your peril (oh and the app navigation option failed, first time ever)View all reviews by steveriley
