A free parking area with services, although a sign said they were out of use until 15/03/2020. Mobile data signal was poor. The village looked fairly interesting and there was a supermarket 3/4 mile away. However, the 2 hard-standing plots were taken and the grass was too soft to use, so we moved onView all reviews by weeksd

Great little area, stayed on hardstanding. Quiet. Easy to walk or cycle around village, we did the latter.
We stayed on a Sunday evening and found the mobile pizza van just a 3 mins cycle from Aire.
Waste disposal only available when we were there.
Super little Aire- I the edge of a very small pretty hamlet. We were the only campers there. Room for at least 6-8 vans. Large bin by the entrance. Lovely mown grass & high hedges.A little road noise or else 10/10.View all reviews by vivagibbo
Good overnight stop just north of Le Mans. Campsite next door appears to no longer be in use; completely empty but still accessible with fully functioning services. We wandered about this Marie Celeste of a campsite and found ourselves beside the most beautiful river Orne so moved our van next to the river and away from the new Orange telcomms mast in the proper site which rather spoils the view!View all reviews by timshaw61
Small site, next to a municipal campsite. It is next to a road, but the traffic dies down by early evening and is quiet overnight. There's mostly grass pitches but there is an area of concrete. We were then only ones there so our 8m fitted on widthways but if it's busy then 3 or so shorter parked nose in would be the done thing.View all reviews by agent006
Nice boulangerie a 5 minute walk away in the village.
Very good for an overnight stop. Tokens for electricity and water cost 3euros and can be bought at the Town Hall or the nearest Tabac both only five minutes walk away. Unfortunately the Town Hall closes at 11:30am most days and the Tabac did not have any tokens left on the night we stayed there. The girl in the Tabac made several phone calls to try to get us a token. Very good boulangerie again only five minutes walk away. Pleasant small town.View all reviews by hamiltongirl
