The Great Glen Hostel is an independent hostel in South Laggan, a little hamlet at the heart of Scotland's Great Glen Way, right alongside the Caledonian canal, 20 miles north of Fort William and 10 miles south of Loch Ness. The hostel has a fully licensed restaurant, The Farmhouse Kitchen, serving breakfast lunch and dinner. There is also a water-sports centre, Active Highs, on-site for rafting, canoeing, kayaking etc.
Directions: The Aire is situated at Great Glen Hostel, 11 miles north of Spean Bridge on the main road A82 in a small settlement called South Laggan, halfway between Loch Lochy and Loch Oich. Turn off to the Aire is on the Fort William side of the Hostel. It's not the entrance to the hostel itself.
