Beauitful spot adjacent to resevoir. Few bars and resturants by the entrance to cable car. The views from the mountain train were breath taking as it winds its way along the very edge to the distant station. Somebody has rigged a tap upto the mountain water or Services at bourne 5 euro for 100l water payable by token (jeton) which can be purchased at the information centre. Grey/black waste. Electric by the hour at the bourne but we did not need it. Steep winding and narrow roads in places coming up from the french side.View all reviews by MStacey

Great place, great views, Restaurants close by. motorhome servicepoint. Great for mountain biking
Very narrow roads from the French side, therefore slow going. We stayed further up the hill as the car park had a motorhome club meeting and had sectioned off an area! Very quiet night. Don't advise going on the train unless it is a very warm sunny day, as we were very cold and damp throughout the trip, and there are no views just cloudy fog. Heading towards Spain the road is absolutely stunning, breathtaking with loads of places to pull over.View all reviews by cjw3928
Excellent spot. Views. Services. Cycling routes. Water from the mountain can be iffy with bugs so all good if you have a filter. Cable car ride to the highest railway in Europe a must do. Take a picnic and a warm top just in case.View all reviews by simonjh
really great spot with nice views and loads of spaces. no height barriers. when we stayed it was free, toilets are at the ski station where you can get free water if you use containers. nice walks along the lake. on the grassy spot where the water is going over the road like a waterfall there is a pipe in it which is good for washing your van.View all reviews by campervantravel

Just looked at photos and a lot has changed new borne.
we stopped here in october 2017 for the night. It was a quiet night with all the other campers like me choosing the off-road space giving the opportunity to put the odd chair out :) Very scenic with no shops open, but the toilets were available.View all reviews by mid4did
Wild camped here for a night. What a great little place, room for 8 - 10 vans off road and a lold more in designated parking down from the service point. Views over the lake and only a short walk to the tiny village. Someone has rigged up a hose system to a mountain waterfall and lots of vans stopped to fill up. The village itself has a few shops, bars and restaurants and has a small ski area so has a telecabine to the ski slopes and access to the tourist scenic railway.View all reviews by craighb
