didn't stay overnight, just called to look as passing through, but likes the aire and would stay in future. decent sized flat parking area, with canal and riverside views. walking distance to small village with plenty of shops over the bridge on the other side of the canal.

Pleasantly surprised as this was our very first Aire. Great location near a large canal and with it being a really pleasant evening, was an opportunity for me to take some stunning photos. Positioned just over a bridge is the town and when we visited it was Sunday and everything was closed, we couldn't purchase any met one unfortunately. so we opted for drink in the local bar, went back to had food a read and a very quiet night. Would definitely recommend a visit.Space for approx 12 large vans.

Nice quiet location. Flat hard surface, only three of us but probably would take 6-8 depending on people’s parking! Services need a jeton. No toilet. Great views of the canal and village. Only 40 minutes to Euro Tunnel.

Level free site. only a short walk to town to get jetons\tokens for services but you may struggle to find one. Front row of Aire has river views. Just far enough away from the ports to avoid any potential hassle.

Stopped here as only 40mins top to get to the tunnel. Extending at the moment but will be a good stop when it's finished. Nice walk by river and town nearby. Market on a Friday.

Quite tight at the moment, although appears to be being extended. Was full when we got there at 6pm, so stayed overnight at the Blockhaus in Eperlecques instead, and returned to use services for grey/black water in the morning.
Can recommend the Blockhaus car park, nice woodland feel.

Official 'council' run site which was being extended at time of our stay, should get another 6 vans in then. Bit of a building site at minute due to works but will great when finished I'm sure. Mostly UK vans. Great riverside location, land adjoining to walk dogs. Amazed by huge barges going past. 10 min walk over bridge to village with boulangerie and bar. Windmill above the town is a great picnic spot. Would stay again.

Small - seven vans at a push, but listed for 5 really. Service point (jetons, from various places in the town). Stayed in Sept 2017. Easy 5min walk into town with trad and fast food available, banks, pharmacy, basic shops. Very nice view of HUGE canal/river and associated big barge traffic just beyond the site hedge. The ducks 'laughed' at us all night - a bit of a racket, but didn't stop enjoyment of a nice, official little stopover

A small, very pleasant Aire in the lovely little waterside village of Watten. Lots to do, the windmill in the village is worth a visit, the Blockhouse at Eperlerques is about 3 miles away and the lovely hilltop town of Cassel, about six miles away and well worth a wander round. Great for Dunkerque and Calais.

Stopped on way back to Dunkirk as we had a 8am ferry. Easy 30 minute drive to the port as the D300 takes you straight there. Watten is a nice little village with a good walk up to the old abbey and windmill. A couple of nice friendly bars as well as a tourist office. Aire realistically only has space for 6 motorhomes and it's free. You can empty for free and fill up for 4E (but have to buy a token in the village for this - there's a list of places on the notice board).

A small and clean aire and service point, just over the bridge from town and right next to the canal. A few things to see, like the old Abbey and windmill and the town church, the Abbey and windmill being closed when we were there but it's out of season. There are a few Local shops with friendly staff. Some huge boats pass by on the canal, most with cars on top of them!

Nice Aire at the side of the canal, lots of large boats carrying freight which can be noisy, but none overnight. Pleasant village with shops and bars.

Small but functional site. Within 30 mins from the Channel Tunnel. This was full up on our arrival as we are only small we were able to park in front of another motorhome as we were leaving early hours. Did not seem to have much around. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was very quiet.
