Cheap basic 80s type campsite. Toilets, showers, laundry sinks and washup facilities dated but clean and functional. Cassette disposal but has no flush tap. Clean water from sink tap. Open early April to mid-November.
Two foopaths lead up to the village from a few hundred metres up the road; a steep climb up beneath the lofty viaduct. The Monastery and Basilica are very large and impressive, and along with the old part of the village below with its steep, narrow galleried streets are well worth the effort of a visit.
