Spent night of 14th sept on this Aire. Quiet at night, busy area by day. Level gravel, church bells (as long as you like them) stop around 11pm. Borne is not attractive, ok to dump grey and black but didn’t fancy fresh. Good cycling along the banks of Loire, cycle to Candes Saint Martin visit church and climb steep path for view point. work back through montsareau (boulangerie, etc) IF AIRE FULL, then 300m further west along rue de ducs d’Anjou large park with 20 + vans parked on gravel on rightView all reviews by teamrienza
Lovely little sleepy village. Interesting cave houses but not a lot here. Great place to stopoverView all reviews by stevepeacock
Pretty little village with troglodyte houses facing onto the river. The aire is in a little park below the church, with benches, kids play area and the bus stop. Jetons for the services available at the shop or the bar next door. We stopped for lunch and a well worthwhile explore, but didnt overnight. I expect it would be very peaceful.View all reviews by vanessavan
We arrived here in the dark and the rain after we found our original destination closed for Winter. Almost level, gravel, dark & pretty quiet except for some vehicles meeting up at 7am on a Thursday morning. We didn't use the services but they looked clean enough; a jeton is required from the local shop in order to use the water. Some off leash dog exercising is available nearby although the electrified horse field was painful for one of the dogs.We didn't explore the village due to poor weatherView all reviews by weeksd
Pulled in here today but only stayed long enough to look around village. Nice aire totally spoilt due to location and state of service area which is centrally placed for parking bays. The emptying point for chemical toilet is just an open grid and because you have to pay for water toilet waste had not been washed down - totally disgusting and shameful as the aire itself is free. It's been 33/34 degrees here the last couple of days so you can imagine the smell and flies.....View all reviews by ninkasi
No water available in December but nice place to park in little village for free.View all reviews by valntone
Lovely village with plenty of vineyards and wine tasting. Aire was full by 4pm in October but drive through the aire and there are other parking spots within a few hundred metres by the river. Water token is €2.50 for 100 litres. Toilets not far away.View all reviews by pipete

Amazing little place to stop.View all reviews by tommynz
At the start of a little village. There is a small store just up the road joined to a pub. (Open till 8.30 pm even on a sunday.
The town also has a nice little walking route (approx 1-1.5 hrs)
The park up has only water and a grey water dump. You get a token from a store near by.
There is rubbish and recycling over the road in a little park.
Would recommend for a easy stop.
Tom the kiwi.
