Longview sits on the B6310 in a quiet peaceful location with far reaching views over the Durham Dales. Spectacular sunsets can be seen regularly here. It is also a bird watchers delight. Private access is available to the Derwentside walk from the campsite. Walk a mile along to the Ebchester public house and The Derwent Walk Inn. Shotley bridge ½ mile from the site offers an Indian restaurant, pizzeria and Chinese takeaway.
The fresh water is at the bottom and grey water disposal at the top of the hill up a well maintained gravel slope.
