There are two Aires, one on the left after you turn off the road and one on the right.View all reviews by dreammobil
The one on the left is set back from the river but is a bit more manicured. A night watchman comes round for the money. The one on the right is directly on the river with views and next to the bathing beach. Payment here is by machine.
The service station is to the right but is completely broken. There is a fresh water tap at the boat dock though.
We stayed here for 2 nights a great stop next to the river, there seems to be 2 Aires more or less next to each other. As you leave the main road and head towards the aire the road splits to the left/right we went to the left and found this a nice stop there is some shade from small trees i think the other aire had more shade where you will also find the services area. There is a steep walk to a lovely little village and also a walk along the river to the rock carvings. Well worth a visit.View all reviews by loslobos
Driving down to the aire is a challenge if you are of a nervouse disposition. The final left hand turn in is too difficult if you are longer than 6-7m. It is better to drive past, turn around before the bridge and it then becomes a much simpler right turn. Once parked it us more like a campsite than an aire. No electricity but bins near by. The water, waste etc is further away and not in good condition. Arrive with a full water tank and empty everything else if you can. The ‘night watchman’ collects €7 at about 7:30pm which is good value for a pitch near the river and a pleasant but steep walk into the village. There also showers at €2 but old and I personally would not use them.View all reviews by Take55555
Stayed on the right hand side overlooking the river . small beach area opposite the cafe and toilets . Great area would come again. Paid eur7 Ticket machine now on Aire ,18.00 till 9.00hrs. Day time free. If you use the showers make sure there is water ,it is turned off at the end of the season but still takes the money.View all reviews by jasper
Nice grassy site surrounded by woods, within easy distance of the main village. Right by the river. Note that although EHU is listed when we asked another camper we were told there wasn’t any. Man speaking English, Spanish and Greek collects €7 early evening. Main services a little further away. And if you have a larger MH make sure your sat-have doesn’t try to take you on some of the nearby roads (several slightly nightmarish scenarios with our tag axle on high, narrow roads overlooking gorge).View all reviews by calvino
What a lovely spot, which in November was empty. Services were free at this time of the year, although a man came to visit at 6.00pm to collect our €7, which for the view and locality to St Cirq was a steal. The access from the main road is tight coming from the village, so for long rigs, suggest to go towards the bridge, turn around and then access from the right. Lovely walk along the river to the village, although coming back along the road offers some nice views of the village.View all reviews by themotoroamers
Loved this aire. As the others said, turn right at the end of the track, don't follow the sign to the left. There is a parking area by the river, with toilets nearby. There are showers too which have to be paid for. Someone arrived on a moped to take payment - about €7. A bit of a trek to get up to the village, but well worth it, so pretty and amazing views down the valley. Local goats cheese sellers arrived in the evening and a bread van in the morning. We would definitely return if in the area.View all reviews by kezzamac
Arrived about 18:00 and parked in the right hand area, and got a front line spot looking at river and village opposite. Mostly level but scruffy grass and rocks. This is where the facilities are, access to loos is free. Parking to the left is on more level and grass, but loos would be too far from left had side. Walk to the village is pleasant, but it gets very steep through village. Had a lovely meal at La Cantou. States night watchman will come for payment €6.25, but no one did.View all reviews by jakes
We turned to the left ! -& parked on the grass mainly because the parking to the right was very crowded with motorhomes already and lots of dust was flying around from the car park which was being blown around as cars and vans drove in and out. We preferred the grass area which was a very large area which we shared with one other unit - but each to their own. Amazing overhanging rocks if you walk downstream towards the next village - its a mile or two down but worth the walk (see photo!View all reviews by cartyl
Superb aire with plots right next to the river. Make sure you turn right at the end of the access road, as there is a field to the left for motorhomes, but much inferior views/situation. To get to the town, walk beside the river (past a lock) and then up the hill. Lovely town with plenty of eateries. Make sure to visit the viewing point for some STUNNING views - some of the best I've seen.View all reviews by coullp
