This looks as though it will be changing soon, car park has marked bays but car size we overhung at the back. There also pay machines going in at the entry. Looks like there will still be parking fir Motorhomes at rhe entrance road to the Chateau - its not a ling walk and Rocamadour is stunning not to be missed

Basically a car park for motorhomes. (Other carparks had height barriers), free. Nice little tourist town with amazing views of the village on the cliff face. Worth a stop. No services. Coin operated access to toilets in the town!

A super place to stay over night with plenty of other campers. I suspect it gets very busy during the season although October about dozen of us. You are 1 minute walk to the Castle, two restaurants and the lift or stairs to the town. Highly recommend. There is also a water tap in the grounds of the castle if you are in need as there are no services except bins here.

Lovely spot. Quite night considering how busy the aire was. The bells finish at 10 and start at 7. The walk down was nice and worth the effort, but the lift was 4.20 for a return trip if you need it. The whole town is lovley and worth a visit.

Campervan parking amongst general tourist car park for this stunning location. Hectic during the day but peaceful when day trippers have gone. Dry sandy surface and shady trees. Ok public loos nearby, closed at night. Unexpected monkey noises from nearby zoo! Recommended.

Lots of room on this car park for all. Rocamadour is a very popular tourist spot and well worth a visit. Make sure you are all full and empty though as there is literally only a rubbish skip. No water or ability to lose your waste.

Take the windy path down to the sanctuary, it is really very easy and it will save you €4.60 each in the lift. Also beware the lift closes at 8pm and restaurants in village open at 7pm.

There are several huge grassy car parks in the are. I'm writing about one near the monkey reserve. Free. Lots of trees for shade and a footpath high above the river leading to a road junction and step path down to the town. A lot of touristy shops there. we took the lift and furnicular back up and walked back on the cliff tops to the afore-mentioned junction

There was only half a dozen vans there overnight although room for about 40. The stopping place is based at the top of the town and you can either walk the steps or get the funicular for 5.20 euro for two and then the lift 4.20 for two. The church was closed when we were there. No facilities, there is a toilet next to funicular for 50 cents

Great location through main chateau car park. Easy circular walk past the TO to old hospital, medieval village (lots of gift shops), Sanctuary and back up steps and hairpin path to chateau. Relatively quiet although it is half-term.

Very large area for parking, although coaches do use it as well in daytime. Nearby toilets are 50 cents. Cafe and restaurant. Funicular down to religious centre and lift down from there to village which has lots of tourist shops and cafes etc. You can walk if preferred - we walked down and used lift & funicular to get back up, dogs allowed free in both.

Large open parking area above castle and village. No services but WC’s with running water next to funicular railway station 100m. Café/Restaurants and gift shop nearby. Lovely old town and castle that can be accessed via steps or by taking the funicular. Beautiful setting up in the mountains. Roads in and out of carpark area fine, but don’t try to drive down into the village.
