Lovely location/view. However you need £3 in CASH for a Day Parking Ticket from the pay and display machine. No contactless payment method. Sadly the cafe had closed. So sad we couldnt stay.

All open café, loo and chemical waste. Very nice view and couple of walks. Very busy 9 vans overnight not sure about the 4m rule. And busy daytime with cars. But the view is worth it but I would use the facility's again but overnight some where else if it was busy.

Beautiful stop over. On clear nights expect star gazers to turn up in the wee small hours.
Cafe and facilities open at 11am. Very little road noise during the night.
Highly recommended!

Spent a Satuday night here along with about a dozen other motorhomes. we were parked up most of the day £3 charge. It was very busy through the day with cars, bikes and motorhomes but it was a really nice day. Would recommend and would stay again if in the area

As previously noted this is a great spot with fabulous views. It is right next to the A712 but little to no road noise (Sat night Bk Hol Wkend)
The loos were shut on arrival c 5pm but suspect they may be open when the visitor centre is (notice in window says 11am to 4pm)
Whilst there are no facilities as such, I was pleasantly surprised to see a Chemical Toilet servicing point.
Everyone respecting the 4m between outfit rule. I estimate you can get 12 outfits on here but if yours is greater than 8m then you might struggle at busy times.

Cracking free stop over by a lake all free.. thanks to the Scotish Forestry Commission.. Great dark spot for star gazing if you get a clear night (We did set the alarm for 01:00 but it was cloudy) There is an elsan point at the bottom left hand corner of the car park it is a green box which is fenced in just open the gate (I didn't realise what it was so easily missed but big enough not to once you know ...!! ) Toilets at cafe during opening hours with outside tap.. Have fun Campers x

Nice spot just off the road. Level, and room. For about 6 or 7 MHs. Overnight parking allowed for free. But be warned to loos here are locked overnight.
Right on the shore of the Loch. Nice and peaceful. But the midges in July were horrendous. We kept a little firepit going to keep them away.
Would recommend.

Excellent spot at the far corner if you can get it with unrestricted view of the loch. No-one else there on the night I stayed, possibly due to poor weather, which also meant there was no stargazing to be had ☹️. Was still free when I stayed but I understand a £5 charge for overnighting is imminent.
I arrived well before 6pm for a bike ride so had to pay to use it as a conventional car park (£3 all day) before it becomes free parking for motorhomes only after 6pm.

Little bit of noise from passing traffic but not much after 10pm until 6am.

My value for money rating is based on it being free.

Great spot on a level carpark with fab view over the loch. No facilities open due to covid. This was during the ‘stay for a night’ trial so no charge. Access to the loch for kayaks and a short walk up to Bruce’s stone .. 4g coverage . Great stop over. No midges at the minute. Can’t rate facilities as they were closed and we are self contained
