Cracking free stop over by a lake all free.. thanks to the Scotish Forestry Commission.. Great dark spot for star gazing if you get a clear night (We did set the alarm for 01:00 but it was cloudy) There is an elsan point at the bottom left hand corner of the car park it is a green box which is fenced in just open the gate (I didn't realise what it was so easily missed but big enough not to once you know ...!! ) Toilets at cafe during opening hours with outside tap.. Have fun Campers xView all reviews by moethemoho
Nice spot just off the road. Level, and room. For about 6 or 7 MHs. Overnight parking allowed for free. But be warned to loos here are locked overnight.View all reviews by CLANGLEY
Right on the shore of the Loch. Nice and peaceful. But the midges in July were horrendous. We kept a little firepit going to keep them away.
Excellent spot at the far corner if you can get it with unrestricted view of the loch. No-one else there on the night I stayed, possibly due to poor weather, which also meant there was no stargazing to be had ☹️. Was still free when I stayed but I understand a £5 charge for overnighting is imminent.View all reviews by johnclee
I arrived well before 6pm for a bike ride so had to pay to use it as a conventional car park (£3 all day) before it becomes free parking for motorhomes only after 6pm.
Little bit of noise from passing traffic but not much after 10pm until 6am.
My value for money rating is based on it being free.
Great spot on a level carpark with fab view over the loch. No facilities open due to covid. This was during the ‘stay for a night’ trial so no charge. Access to the loch for kayaks and a short walk up to Bruce’s stone .. 4g coverage . Great stop over. No midges at the minute. Can’t rate facilities as they were closed and we are self containedView all reviews by ruthmarshall
