Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, England, United Kingdom, HR9 7DD
Open from Apr to Sep
Ross Rowing Club provides the perfect setting to rest in the surrounds of the River Wye, or go from here and explore the beautiful Wye Valley in detail. The campsite is right on the river and just a few minutes' walk to the market town of Ross-on-Wye, with plenty of further amenities.
This is a great back-to-nature experience for anyone who loves the water and the outdoors.
Camping is located on the fields which are behind and upriver from the boat house. There are 12 acres of land so there is no problem accommodating large groups (during the August Bank Holiday rowing regatta over 1,000 rowers and their families stay on site).
Along with tent campers, trailer tents, RVs, mobile homes & campervans are all welcome, but no electric hook up pitches are available.
Up to 2 dogs per pitch can join you for your holiday.
All pitches are approx. 12m x 10m and reasonably level suitable for tents and vans.
Pitches are chosen at the time of booking on a first-come-first-served basis, but the site management team can help allocate pitches for larger groups. The Camping Management Team can designate protected areas for large groups of children or e.g. Scout, Guide or Duke of Edinburgh groups, in order to help them fulfil their safeguarding children responsibilities.
Please arrive after 14.00 hours
Please depart by 12.00 hours
