Have you already heard of the Creuse, also known as the green diamond of France? It is a department in the middle of France, known for its beautiful nature, vast landscapes, delicious local products and above all the unprecedented peace and quiet. The Creuse was recently proclaimed one of the most ZEN spots in France and the clean air has been at the top of the country for years.
If you like hiking or biking, there is good news: more than 1200 km of hiking trails and a fantastic cycling track through the Creuse of 442 km. You can also enjoy swimming, fishing or canoeing in the Thaurion. Or how about just doing nothing, some say the silence hurts the ears ;-)
