Sally and Boyd were really welcoming and friendly. A lovely pub with a good drinks selection, also good food at good prices.
Social distancing system works extremely well, even when the pub became busy, there was still plenty of space.
Lovely large grassed area to the rear of the pub with ample space. Very quiet and peaceful, a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We will definitely be coming back!
A hidden gem, large grass area suitable for several motorhomes-campers . Boyd & Sally were friendly & very helpful, A busy Pub (it was 4th july) but social distancing was observed. We had Cod, chips & mushy peas which could of been served to our m/home, but we chose to eat in tge pub, Bbq & music, large childrens play area & goals . Toilets are available through the night but we didnt need them. They do do breakfasts also. We will definately return (hubby wants the sticky toffee pudding)View all reviews by sarahV
We arrived in the car park and were met by Boyd who showed us to the parking area (a large field the size of a football pitch). We felt very safe after being shown the new Covid-19 guidelines and were served with quiet efficiency by both Boyd and Sally. A good choice of ales and a very extensive menu. Food well presented and good sized portions. Very tasty! Excellent value for money and will certainly revisit and recommend the location to others! Excellent proximity to the A14.View all reviews by rayweal

Fantastic hosts who made me feel very welcome.
Parking is in a field at the rear of the pub. Very peaceful.
Access to water and toilets available throughout the night. Great food.
Highly recommend, would definitely return.
Close to Bury St Edmunds and a short drive to the Suffolk coast.
One small shop/postoffice in town
Great countryside walks.
We spent this weekend here and loved it.View all reviews by angela
Peaceful setting, with loads of space.
Excellent location just off A14
This is a fabulous pub stop, the landlords couldn't be more accommodating and would love to encourage more motorhomes to visit. Food is very good and the pub has a very friendly feel about it. We were greeted on arrival and guided where to park which is a huge grassed area that could probably accommodate 20 or more motorhomes. We spent 1 night here but was advised that they allow 2 nights if desired. I cannot recommend this place enough, we shall definitely be returning!!!!!View all reviews by davinahannigan
