Tucked away from the main road, our CL site is situated on a working dairy farm between the hamlet of Hardstoft and the village of Pilsley. The site is just less than 1 acre in size and has 5 level hardstanding pitches, all with individual electric hook ups and water supplies. The site benefits from the sun all day (weather permitting!) due to its orientation - perfect for relaxing breaks. For the explorers, our CL makes access to the Five Pitts Trail easy; the scenic route of this trail crosses the farm drive.
The Five Pitts Trail is a network of surfaced walkways/cycle routes which follows the line of the former coal pit route. Circular pathways loop from this main line to allow access to local towns and villages and beyond. The area has an abundance of coal mining history which can be explored through this Trail. Particularly worthy of a visit is the Williamthorpe Nature Reserve, located near to the village of Heath.
