A great CS, definately need to bring leveling chocks though as all pitches slope! £12 a night May till October inc ehu. A short walk to the Linacre Reservoirs for a waterside and woodland walk. Have to admit we didnt venture further as we just enjoyed the countryside and the weather was kind so we sat outside and relaxed with the view of Chesterfield. Its a working farm so expect some working noise as the weather allows so sometimes late into the evening. The large gravel hardstandings are on the edge of a field so we sat and watched the ground prepared for planting whilst being visited by the hens!View all reviews by scotsblood
Great site. Fantastic views, you can see for miles.View all reviews by camogirl
£10 per night for tent/ caravan or campervan. Chickens running wild makes a lovely chance for getting back to nature.
Only down side is no shower but will definatly be back for many more visits.
Great site for touring around attractions in the Peak District. Very close to Chatsworth House and Bakewell. Hardstanding pitches with ehu, water and waste disposal available on site and a single toilet which is fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Far reaching views over farmland with Chesterfield in the distance. Walking directly from the site to Linacres reservoirs and beyond. Local bus to Chesterfield at the end of the drive. Highly recommended and great value.View all reviews by geegee
