This was our second visit. First time, four years ago, we were politly asked to move on by the local police, this time everything was working and we had a good stopover. We paid just eight euros for our pitch including EHU. I think access to the site can feel quite strange, lots of one way roads or was it just our Garman?

Great aire right by the beach! Busy even in December (loads of surfers) but probably heaving in high season!
Cost is 8 Euros (low season) and this includes 16 amp EHU.
We stopped off here on the way down to Spain and it is so nice that we're staying 2 nights!
Looks like there are 2 service points but we have yet to use them.
The sound of the rollers crashing onto the beach is wonderful!!

Retired couple, two dogs.
Very large car park aire with decent facilities, though only one public toilet. The office is closed, but a lady comes round early evening, and again in the morning.
Basic beach bar very close, but shops are a cycle ride away. Listen out for the baguette and croissant van about 8.45. He toots his horn.
Aire couldn’t be closer to the Capbreton beach, though I think Hossegor beach is nicer, and cleaner. Sadly, the beautiful beach was clearly polluted, though you won’t be going in the water unless you are a strong swimmer or a surfer!
Hossegor is an easy 30 min bike ride on a good cycle path. Or you walk via the beach and/or a signposted dunes path.

Huge Aires with over 100 spaces, lady collects money in the evening 14 euro in July. Very busy family site, noisy in the evening with small children running at midnight. Great location for the beach and a good beach bar too. Bread van comes round at 9am selling good bread, just listen for him beeping his horn.

A large tarmac car park behind the dunes with some sloping sites. A lady collected 10 Euros at 7pm & gave a ticket which covers services & electric & we also managed to get decent free wifi. Great walk both ways along beach for dogs at this time of year & the WWII German Bunkers were interesting. Cycle lanes into town. Quiet at night except for the roar of the Atlantic. Only 1 service point for 130 odd pitches. A local Association meet was held in the car park on Saturday morning.

Stayed here twice now. First time in January 2017 when there was only enough room for 5 vans and no services. This time January 2018 there was 133 places all with electric hook up, waste and water facilities. 10 euros in January rising to 14 euros in the summer. A lady came round at 9 in the morning to collect money and issue a receipt. Lidl on entrance to village. Village centre about 1/2 mile from site for shopping/bars/restaurants. Nice walking on beach on protected footpath through the dunes

Really great place to stop, but no shade if it's hot. Situated behind the sand dunes, so very short walk to the beach. Nice easy cycle ride on paths into Cap Breton town, sea front and harbour. Has electric hook up, emptying, filling facilities, a loo, and a bread van calls in the mornings . It does get busy in high season.

Large site next to the beach. EHU at each parking bay. View is rated from top of sand dunes to the sea and not the parking area.

We were here in November 2014. No water and electricity, but free the price goes up in spring/summer and services are turned on during these periods. WC dump available in Winter plus public toilets.. Right on beach and the dunes, beautiful beach walks. Nice small town about 1.5km walk plenty of bars/cafes/restaurants and local shops.
