|Small amount of parking down tight single track road. Rather tight and very limited turning room at the end. Not suitable for large units!|
Beautiful views of Cwyfan Church which was built on what appears to be a man-made island in the bay. When the tide is out you can walk to the island and up some steps. Please do consider taking some money with you to put in their charity donation box. The views when sitting at the end of the island looking out over the sea are simply spectacular (take some drinks - but be sure to leave no litter).
If you take a left along the seafont you will get to a small golden sandy beach (53.1830296, -4.4879549).
Very rocky when tide is out, good place for snorkelling.
There are no facilities or amenities but there is a small stream which runs out onto the beach. You can collect water from here or use it to wash sand off your feet etc (53.1854201, -4.4863932).

The locals say the road is private and owned by the Bodelwyddan castle estate inconsiderate campers are causing problems, even cutting off chains and opening field gates so they can turn around!View all reviews by CriftinsCampers
A fantastic spot once the day trippers leave. be warned once you start down the lane past the farm there is absolutely no where to turn around if the road is jam packed with cars until they leave, best to arrive during high tide.
We spent two nights there this week (End of October 2019
In addition to my previous comments leave plenty of room at the end for Karen (the local farmer) to get her tractor through the gates into her fields! She was dropping off round bales of a hay twice a day this week for the Cattle.View all reviews by CriftinsCampers
the previous review is incorrect im pleased to say! as they were at the wrong end of the bay...as was we after searching for this location from this drop pin and directions.View all reviews by duettos1
at this location submitted there IS a paque stating “footpath only” and there IS a gate which leads down to someone house. but access on foot only is allowed via a public footpath to get to the bay and church on island.
please see the correct location for “cwyfan church” on here. its a beautiful place and well worth a stay. stunning sunsets!
turning points are mininal and may take a 25 point turn to get out ????
not suitable for large units. only small motorhomes and campers.
Whilst there is a space big enough for a couple of motorhomes, this road is gated and padlocked with only footpath access. The gate only appears to be opened for church services or residents.View all reviews by Kingy109
