Spent the night at the "Green Tree" pub stop over. Excellent pub, good menu, we stopped for lunch before heading off. We sank a few beers before bedding down for the night. Great dog walks through the fields across from the pub. We will be back for sure. The Pub is very dog friendly not sure why this has not been identified on the listing? Thanks Paul for letting us stay over!View all reviews by Dickie0121
Had a stop off at the green tree on a sunday night last minute, the staff were extremely helpful, the food had finished so i felt guilty because i couldnt contribute to their takings so i had a couple of pints and left a tenner for a drink for the staff, i definitely reccomend, the menu looks great and its in a lovely village location.View all reviews by mickspittle
great stop on the way north or South just outside Durham, a lovely place to stay in a pretty village, the food was delicious and everyone was really friendly, most warm welcome and prices very reasonable and if you are short of the essentials like bread milk etc they can supply it, would definitely come back again ????❤️View all reviews by sylviadob
