Really nice site. Hard standing pitches well spaced out. Facilities warm and very clean. Ideally situated for Castle Howard, Malton and surrounding areas. Came in March 2020 and noone else here. LovelyView all reviews by eknowles
Nice and spacious site, clean facilities, with friendly and helpful staff. Nice pitches, not at all cramped, with partial views of the lake.View all reviews by leewalton
There are some great walks which skirt the grounds of Castle Howard, or its only just over a mile to walk up to the main entrance, where you gain discounted access. However, you don't even have to pay to get into the Castle Howard shops where they have some great produce, as well as an on-site butcher! Well worth visit for supplies!
Stayed here the staff were very welcoming. Very clean, well maintained.View all reviews by Linmar2
Gently sloping - ramps required.
Lovely views of countryside and Castle Howard through the trees.
A good stop over or good if you like walking or cycling.
We were given 2 4 1 tickets for Castle Howard - choose gardens or house & gardens which is brilliant value.
You can visit the deli - shop- cafe - garden centre free of charge with free parking. Lovely home baking in both.
Check your route and dimentions as access for some through arches will mean a detour or follow the “coach route” marked on A64.
