Stayed over a few nights late feburary. Windy spot ideal for wind surfers. Nothing in the village but its easy enough to cycle into almeria. Quit nights no issues. Bread van visits anout 9. Place could do with a good litter pick.

This is an area with access to beach parking as well as the higher area. The beach floods in storms. There are beach showers from which you can get fresh but non drinking water. A large bin is on the beach in front of some houses. A bread van comes round late morning. No waste water disposal. It is possible to cycle/walk to Almerimar along the beach.

Found this place after struggling to find a space at any sites or camperstops in the area. Its a piece of disused land/old carpark next to the sea, stoney gravel beach near the polytunnels. Pretty flat and if your lucky a sea view. Around 30 vans here for the 2 days we stayed. Quiet at night, you get a visit in the morning from the local bread/fish/fruit and veg vans. Looks like people were dumping toilet waste down one of the man hole covers here, not sure if its sewage or rainwater drainage. No bins or water. Ok for a freebie, nothing nearby. Not the prettiest area but handy if stuck for a spot to sleep, great if you get near the waters edge.

After a drive through the polytunnels to the sea front this was a very pleasant place to park right on he beach. There is a beach road used by the locals for walking, jogging, and driving along but not too many vehicles. Populated by upto twenty motorhomes during our stay but very peaceful and quiet. Bread van and greengrocer van came round this morning which could be useful if staying any length of time. Showers on beach if desperate for water but no services so be prepared. You can park very close to the sea. Napoleonic fort within walking distance which we visited and fiund interesting.
