Very welcoming pub with canal-side beer garden and a good choice of tasty food. Free overnight parking if you eat in the pub.
Great level parking in the car park situated between the canal and the river with immediate access for walks/cycling on towpaths in either direction and in the woodland opposite. We cycled towards Uppermill & found Lime Kiln Cafe on the canal side - well worth a visit.
Quite a busy spot during the day, but quiet at night apart from the odd train.
No water facilities.
Would definitely reccomend

Dropped in here by chance for a bite to eat and so glad we did the food is out of this world just fantastic! I believe this establishment is under new
management & was refurbished this year with amazing results!
Decided to stay the night which was nice & quiet right next to the canal.
