Great stopover Friday night. Very quiet, next to canal towpath. We had a meal in the pub which was very good and reasonable. Friendly bar, staff and locals. Don't be put off by bridge access, it takes 17 ton. No noise in night. Bet it gets busy in summer as lots of outside seating. Dog friendly.View all reviews by happyhippies123

Car park is right by the canal and railway line.
There was some noise from the rail but too bad.
A few young lads parked in the car park at around 9pm, but no issues at all. We are in the bar and it was ok, nothing more.
Less than five minutes from the M1 and quiet location.
Very friendly place, quiet between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Run out of ales. Big beer garden between canal and railways with lots of tables so would be great for a summers afternoon.View all reviews by ben9090
Access over narrow bridge but ok for biggest motorhomes as it takes 17t limit.
