Fantastic! the pub owners were so welcoming and the food was good, there was also live music which was a bonus. As for the overnight, the car park was silent, there is a public toilet that was open all night and there is a pond and fields which is great for walking the dog. Going to make this a regular stop on our way to the tunnel from now on.

Stayed on a saturday night, only just out of lockdown so no music and only outside seating. Had a nice walk around surrounding fields, lovely food and some beer, all very nice, loads of space for parking the motorhome and level. Were able to use public loos and also there was a tap for water, only complaint was the nearby motorway, it was a hot night so needed to have the windows open, Will be back when there is music on. Thanks to Claire and Duncan for making us feel welcome! Also had an ice cream at the cafe on site. Convenient only a few minutes off the motorway.

Stayed here on way the Channel Tunnel. I phoned ahead on a Sunday. The pub was closing at 6pm but was told i was welcome to use carpark for overnight stay. Got there just after 6pm and had a chat with Duncan the owner who was very friendly and welcoming although we were too late the eat there.
Best to park near back of carpark as fills up about 9am in morning as other small businesses around. Good find for an overnight stay

This is situated in a lovely retail park/artisan village, best to call ahead first just to find out if its ok, but it should be and best at weekends... parking at furthest point from entrance. Lovely for dog walking and very friendy couple, nice foudcand good selection of ales, ciders and gin, gluten friendly.
