Don't worry about issies review,i don't know where they were parking but it certainly wasn't marine road, free parking one side double yellows the other. Stayed last night no problem and staying again tonight. Lodes
Of parking on kingsdown road aswell bit busy working hours. Hut 55 hibernates November for winter but a great place for bike hire and snacks when awake.

we parked here and just got into bed PJ's one.
knock on the door police we were told it was residents parking only! and asked to move on!
they advised us to go to the other end by Kingswood, drove down but it was full again with residents at home.
ended up having to go up to Sandwich at 11pm
never again.

a bit quieter than nearby kingstown road,quite hard to get a spot after 8-30am free 24 hr parking is used by commuters working in deal.i found a good spot at the walmer paddling pool end and stayed for four nights.plenty of interesting places on the local bus routs and just a couple of mins walk to deal castle,town centre 5 mins,20 mins stroll to walmer castle along the beach path.hut 55 is a beach shack serving good coffee and snacks and hire bike,toilets nearby,water tap near bandstand.
