The streets just before the car park look a bit dodgy, however we stayed for 2 nights and felt very safe. No rubbish bins and the tecycling was overflowing.View all reviews by Samnkeez
Ideal place to walk or cycle into the city.
Quiet locally at night although you do hear the trains the other side of the river and of course the large working boats that frequently motor by.
Nice free stop. Grass area between carpark and river to sit out on. Nice walk to town with usual ameneties plus the cable car ride.View all reviews by captainwebb999
Knauss campsite nearer town but 19€ on stellplatz !
Good flat carpark next to river, with views of the cable car and fortress. No services - one rubbish bin by a bench overlooking river. A good 20 minutes walk to the ferry, which wasn’t running for some reason. We followed path to a Netto and got the no. 2 (or you can get 12) bus into town - about 4 stops for €3 each! Stayed for a couple of nights with no problems. Koblenz lovely city, the cable car ride a ‘must-do’ - €11 return, with great views of the city.View all reviews by Smurf60
Just spent a night here and it is a great location, easy flat walk along the river to get to the city centre.View all reviews by crazycampercatz
If you are a light sleeper you may find the train on the other side of the river quite loud and it goes all night, it didn’t bother us.
There are some recycle bins but I haven’t yet seen any regular bins.
