We stayed for two nights on our way south. Good size level grass pitches with high screening hedges. Toilets and showers were adequate, not dirty but not immaculate either. Lovely stretch of the river Sarthe borders the site and can be fished for free if you have a french fishing license. Twenty minute walk to the town centre with its medievel castle and pleasant town square. At £14 euros a night including EHU and showers, it’s good value.View all reviews by thechubb
I'm sure "in season" the site would be pleasant. However early October it is awaiting seasonal closure where the toilets were unclean, leaves on the floor etc. short walk to what looks like an attractive town. Would return but glad we only 14€. So mustn't grumble!!View all reviews by gerry941
Beautiful picturesque village 5 mins away and site pretty. Arrived October 2019 and no lighting after dark to toilets/showers so a torch/phone needed. Might be an out of season thing but if you're a bit nervous or not a confident walker like I am I wasn't impressed. Have to say though that couldn't fault owner on the phone talking us through late check in in perfect English.View all reviews by kimmy1691
Lovely friendly young lady at reception, pretty river runs along side site, bike ride into town, swimming pool next to site but closed when we visited, bread order available from reception, fishing possible, small park area next to site where children were fishing and swimming, all round pleasant site.View all reviews by autoquest196
