Stopped off at the nearby village of Pomarez and had lunch in its free Aire. Although very nice we decided to drive a bit further for a quieter spot. Well what a gem. This is just beautiful and the area has four very large ponds and three large parking areas in three different locations. There are fish jumping in the ponds, birds chipping, scenery is stunning and the silence even better.
People walking or cycling but very respectful and friendly. Perfect dog walking ( my dog was in the water several times to cool off )
Has a newly emptied runbish bin and lots of signs about the wildlife. Certainly recommend it for some peace and quiet rather than a quick stop off.

Lovely quite area. We found 3 carparks around the ponds that would have been ok to use. There are bins about and some bench’s around the ponds. Plenty of walks around, we even found a sunflower field in full bloom, not bad for the last week in August. Quite nights sleep.
