Great. We stayed last night. It was wet and windy outside but we were fine inside. A few other mohos parked up. It was quiet all night. Loads of space.View all reviews by gail55
Stayed for one night, only 2 other vans here. Great parking right next to the beach (on shingle/pebbles) with lovely walks, but exposed so rather bracing if it's windy! Didn't see any signs relating to parking or overnighting apart from on the grass verge at the other side of the road (which says no overnight camping or caravans). Road which runs parallel is quite noisy, so if you like it peaceful then the spot at Leysdown is quieter.View all reviews by Shed78
Had a visit from the environmental team on 12 September 2019.View all reviews by alanjsom
I along with 4 other vans were informed that parking overnight is no longer allowed.
Registration numbers are being taken and persistent offenders will be taken to court.
Same applies down at Leysdown.
We loved it here & had 3 overnight stays. On the 12th September 2 officials informed us this is private land & we're not allowed to stay. They had made a note of our motorhome reg but also had it listed from another stay early July. Also listed it when we had a daytime visit to Leysdown. I said we never stayed overnight there. I suggested they put a charge per night which we would be willing to pay. They warned of prosecution & keeping our reg on files & that they had spoken to us.View all reviews by marilyn1
This is a lovely relaxing free stopover. Peaceful at night & views amazing. Just approach the access ramp steady as said previous. Our van is low at the rear but no problem. Toilets over the road by the Indian restaurant. Lovely walk along the promenade into Sheerness approx 40 minutes & plenty of shops. Aldi & Tescos too.View all reviews by marilyn1
Sunday overnight stop enroute Cambridge to Dover. Highly recommended. Don't be put of by the steep and tight concrete ramp off the main road. As long as you approach it from the Sheerness side (which means that you will have to turn around if coming in from the A2 but there are plenty of places nearby where you can do this with ease and in safety)View all reviews by valleyheights
Ample room on the top of the sea defence. Gravel / shingle surface which is well compacted on the landward side but less so on the seaward side where you parallel park. Very slight slope across axle. Didn't bother me in the slightest.
No facilities except a few bins next to the boat launching ramp.
Sheerness a 1.5 mile walk along the beach road
Great view of the Thames Estuary, flat gravel parking on the sea wall. Nice cool breeze and lots of marine activity to watch. No facilities except rubbish bins...important! We've been here before and will return.View all reviews by goneagain

It’s used a lot by campers over the weekends in the summer quieter in the colder months.
Popular with kite surfers and dog walkers.
Great view and walks for the dogs.
Indian, pub, cafe and toilets all within 10 minutes walk.
