Sorry council sign put up this week, temporary motorhome trial has ended. No overnight sleeping, motorhomes had to be off by 10pm. Real shame as this ia a great location.

Tried to stay here at the weekend 2nd February and it appears they are building a new sea wall so there were road closed signs and physical gates to stop you going in. I ended up staying on Queens Drive. Would check before going if you're planning on staying here for the time being.

Busy spot in the day, we were lucky to get a spot. Grass tiled area for parking on. Nice views over to the estuary. Exmouth town centre is a 5 min walk from there and you can walk to the main beach which when the tide is out has miles of walks. Train station a 5/10 min walk as well which can take you into Exeter or regular buses too. Better to pay for the 2 or 3 night permit rather than 1 night as works out better value. £11 for a 48 hour permit. Toilets at the start of the road.

Stayed here again for 1 night. It is £11 for 24 hours make sure you select motorhome not car. We don't want to lose this as a stopover as some people have selected car by mistake as the instructions can be confusing. The warden does check you have the appropriate ticket. You can't get a better view than this right by the sea. Toilet close by & shops etc.

Aside from the confusing pricing that is definitely geared at extorting as much money as possible out of campervanners/motorhomers it is great spot. I bought a 3 day permit for £12 when it is £11 per 24 hours for a CV/MH. Fantastic views along the estuary, birds to watch and kite surfers. It was very quiet at night but got busy in the daytime but not noisy, kite surfing is great entertainment. The toilets are clean and open 8am -6pm. Very close to pubs/shops £2 shower in leisure centre.

Please be aware it is £11(not £3)per 24 hours as advised by a very reasonable East Devon parking attendant. He gave a verbal warning to motorhomers who were in there vehicles at the time of his visit.Worth £11 for a stunning location.

Very convenient spot with great views over the estuary. Very busy even for Xmas period but cost overnight is currently £3 so not surprised.
Arrived at 1pm and only 2 spaces left.
Enjoyed exploring Exmouth including the walk along the esplanade and the gardens. Some nice restaurants, cafes and pubs.

Greatl location next to the estuary, and right on the Exe trail cycle path. Close to town, train station, seafront and marina, Exmouth is a lovely town and resort. Little bit of traffic noise but soon quietens down later. Would definately stay again

After struggling to find a space, its like being parked on busy main road , constant traffic and local building work. For £11 i think alocal campsite would be more peaceful.

arrived at around 11am. total of around 15 spaces ro motorhomes, a number of cars were parked up which reduced the number of mh pitches. £11 for 24hrs. toilets available.
we had a lovely view to one side bit the other side had a funfair right next to us. not too bad as was only open 2 till 8 but they then started to dismantle the fair until about midnight. woken at 6am with people setting up for a classic car show lol.
great location only 5 mins to the town centre. wish more councils would provided these types of parking bays

This is a great stop in Devon. The view is beautiful, and very peaceful on an evening. If you are arriving on a bank holiday weekend, make sure you get here early as there are many motorhomes, looking for spaces and it gets full pretty quickly.
The main problem here is the parking machines. Its confusing as it gives 2 prices, one for cars and one for motorhomes, and the sign board does not make it clear. Make sure you quote the right code for motorhome parking or you will get a ticket. The price is £11 for 24 hours, but the view is worth it.

Great spot. £3 for 24 hrs at the moment. Toilets available (might shut overnight, but didn't seem to whilst we were there). A M&S, leisure centre and a train station (end of a quiet line so not a noise nuisance) 3 min walk. Town and beach not much further. Quiet overnight. Adjoining Rugby club does sometimes have a licence for music etc until 11pm.

Great spot IF you can get in as very popular over weekends. Spaces also used by dog walkers and boat owners owing to public slipway. If driving to Exmouth for an overnight you need a plan B. No other overnight options now in Exmouth if length exceeds 5.2 mtrs so be careful and plan ahead.

Nice spot in Exmouth. Close to the town and great views over the estuary. Gets busy in peak times. Toilet at the entrance is clean but basic. Tariffs are a bit confusing but never any questions asked.

Stayed 27/10/18, was a great place to stay over night. Meter was very confusing, but alas it was out of action anyway. £11 per 24hrs. A quiet night spend, but early morning surfers arise. Do recommend it as a stop over. No facilities as far as I could see.

A nice little spot right on the water, well done East Devon Council this is what all councils should do for campervans and motor homes. We stayed for one night however you can stay for 3 days in a row. The cost was £11 every 24 hours. During the day there is mixed parking however towards the night its mostly campervans that are left. There is also basic public toilets at the entrance. The night we stayed there was some music from the local rugby club but it was silent before midnight.

This is mixed parking and popular with dog walkers and water sports enthusiasts. It gets busy on nice days, turn up in the evening for the best chance of nabbing a spot. Paying the motorhome overnight tarriff was a bit confusing but eventually worked out that you need to use the yellow button on the machine to select the motorhome option. Card payments accepted.
