We stayed overnight here in the car park after having a lovely meal and drinks at the pub. Just us and 1 other campervan (our family too) stayed overnight. There is an ANPR parking system however we just asked at the bar (after having rang ahead to check) If we could stop over in the carpark and they were fine. We left a donation behind the bar, perfect! View is beautiful and you can literally park in 2 spots near to the pub and open your rear doors onto the beach. Leave by 10am.View all reviews by Minty03

Stayed on a very windy Monday night. Exposed but added to the sense of adventure. Car park big and 24 hr toilet open on site. A cafe next door and excellent food in the pub itself. Monday to Friday 6 pds main courses.View all reviews by swiftdoris
Will Definately visit again
We stayed here on a Saturday evening. We had lunch in the restaurant and a snack in the evening. The staff were great and we made a donation to the charity they are fundraising for. We were the only overnight stayers and had a fantastic view of the estuary. Beautiful sunset place.View all reviews by TeamOmar
Fourth time staying here. Had meal in the Ferryboat Inn, asked if was ok to stay in the pub car park overnight, not a problem at all. We had to put a few ££s in the charity box, and were given a voucher to scan in main entrance.View all reviews by Sheppy
No parking overnight, asked at the bar and now a private parking authority.View all reviews by steveharmer
We tried to phone ahead but only got an answerphone and message never returned. So we visited in person to be told it is down to the duty manager's discretion and he wasn't in and helpfully the bar staff gave us a number to ring later. We rang later, again an answerphone and no one returned our call, so in the end we visited but never stayed overnight as the duty manager never got back to us. It wasn't for the lack of trying.View all reviews by alanef
Nice pub, good food.View all reviews by liliaicha
We phoned ahead, and it’s at the managers descretion whether you can stay the night, I’m assuming it depends on how many campervans/motorhomes are already there.
We were the only camper in the car park, and the pub issued us with a ticket that allowed us to stay until 10am. You have to scan the ticket and put your reg number into the terminal in the pub foyer.
Nice view across the sea, and nice for a walk in the morning. Fairly quiet even on a Saturday, a few dog walkers parking up, but none in the actual pub section.
There are toilets in the carpark. It says on the door that they close at 5pm.
no longer available!! new parking camera system in place! so no longer aloudView all reviews by JohnStephens
Asked at the bar if we could park overnight in their car park and that we were staying for a meal and drinks. The nice team leader provided us with a ticket to put in the window to show we were allowed to park overnight but have to vacate by 10:00.View all reviews by klbrown1
The barrier is shut at night and re-opens at 09:00.
We ordered 1 x beef & ale pie and 1 x turkey roast dinner. Both very nice. Would definitely return.
