Ideal location for stopover en route north or south. Very new site, meets essential needs. Potentially a very nice site but needs more thought. Good shower/w.c. block let down by minor details. Showers desperately need a curtain and more than one hook. No hooks at all for basin users. Chem disposal not practical as it is. Excellent kitchen/diner with oven, micro and sinks, ample tables. Water at each pitch, great pressure but please fit nozzles! An ok stop, don't be put off, but can be excellent with very little effort. Suspect the designers have never caravanned!View all reviews by TheDabbler
Lovely new site with nearly level gravel hardstandings. This area is separate from the CDP and showers which are up a short steep hill which may put some off.View all reviews by flyingbluedog
Views of the lock through the trees.
Fully serviced pitch with water, grey waste and electric.
Some road noise may affect light sleepers.
Convenient for both Kennacraig and Tarbert ferry ports.
Lot of potential but a bit bare at the moment!
To be fair I didn't use the facilities so can’t comment.
Excellent free Wifi available!
An ok site, with good facilities in a useful location for exploring the Kintyre peninsula, i would go back as an overnighter, but it is part of a working forestry area and lorries go through the site from about 7 in the morning till about 9 at night, i worried about my dogs and would worry if i had children...so a good value good facility stopove4, but not a family holiday site...also close to,the main road, which whilst not busy, lots of heavy commercial traffic heading for Campbeltown port.View all reviews by janh
