This is another amazing stunning place we stayed two nights first we followed the river a beautiful walk up to the restaurant taking about an hour.
Next day were moved up to the chair lift carpark 2 and had an lovely ride up we walked along the ridge had dinner in the restaurant fantastic views. we took the chair lift down but it's an easy walk down from the top. we went back down to park at the lake for another quite night. highly recommended it was very hard to move on from here.
Very peaceful, only sound at night is the river and the cowbells. High in the mountains. Very narrow roads with plenty of hairpins, don't know if I'd fancy taking a tag axle up there but for smaller units go for it. Small bar / restaurants close by. Plenty of walking route's nearby.View all reviews by krazykath
Amazing wee place to spend a quiet night, although so much snow that we couldn't tell what was road and what was verge at the parking site. Beautiful small lakes and stream to walk along. Narrow road for 500metres but very quiet. No facilities but W/C under nearby restaurant, apparently.View all reviews by Bessiewwt

Absolutely amazing location. Just stunning. No facilities but alpine charm in bucket loads. Be aware 3.8n restriction via tunnel to access, alpine roads to access and would avoid in winter monthsView all reviews by dosf
