Situated off the A87 at the foot of the famous Five Sisters of Kintail ridge way and ideally situated on the Cape Wrath Hiking Trail.
Our park is the perfect base for hill walkers wanting to bag some Munro's or for folk touring the West Highlands and the Isle of Skye.
We are surrounded by mountains and wildlife. We have Red Deer and feral Goats that, although generally elusive, can often be seen from the site. The Red Squirrels are currently being reintroduced back into nearby Ratagan and the Pine Marten visits the campsite nightly. On occasions, we have Golden and White Tailed Eagles flying overhead.
The park is open to caravans, campervans, motorhomes, tents and well behaved pets from March to late October.
We have space for approx 25 tents and our 16 level hard standing pitches all have electric hook-up with room for an awning and car.
Our amenities block has hot water 24/7, toilets, showers and a utility room which, in spring 2025, will be housing the washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a kitchen with a microwave, a hot water boiler and sinks for dish and hand washing.
There is a large shelter with picnic benches and table tennis.
The site office is open between 5pm and 8pm and sells chocolate, snacks and hiking meals. The tea room/chocolate cafe adjacent to the site is lovely and you can watch the Glenshiel Chocolates being hand made. There is also a fully stocked grocery store approx 2km away. The nearest pub/hotel/restaurant is a pleasant 15 mins walk.
