Good view in nice little hamlet.
Great little pub with good value menu, the seafood pancke is yummmie.
This is a lovely place to stay overnight in my campervan. The view is beautiful and although the pub is on the corner of a main road, it’s not too busy so causes little distraction. The pub manager, Matthew is very welcoming and the food is good. As is to be expected, I had dinner in the pub last night. There are some lovely walks nearby and the village of Kirby Hill is very quiet and full of character.View all reviews by valstephinson
Great stop over, great views from the car park and great food, one of our better stop overs, its nice to meet the locals and we met some great characters who frequent the pub, especially when the supplier of the wine is in there and can give a personell recomendation.View all reviews by paulhodgkiss
Great location not far off the A66. We stayed one night to break up a longer journey. Pub itself is great, food was fab, homecooked and tasty, good selection of ales, and a great welcome from Matthew and the rest of the staff, and the locals. No charge - we ate and drank in the pub.View all reviews by sasndrew

The carpark was a touch on the small side for our motorhome and were only 20ft. It was busy and i felt a little henmed in to be honest. There is a lovely view and if it was less busy, then you could easily park up to take advantage of it. We had no choice but to reverse in so we didnt get the benefit really.
Lovely welcome from Kirsty . I had chicken and stilton pie and a beer (well a few) all marvelous . Car park in rhe corner under the tree is level(ish) .View all reviews by kilda
