Large well equipped site with static caravans as well as touring fields.View all reviews by jimcampbell
The way the camping fields are set up with tents caravans and motorhomes mixed and cars, for those who have them, parked across the front of pitch, you might feel a bit closed in by others cars.
Good level of sports facilities including open air pools.
Bar and club room but only open Fridays & Weekends.
Gate at rear of site gives access to the coastal path and a short walk into town.
Tried to use the drive over water disposal but was refused as we had stayed next door ar Camping on the Farm, (great review submitted). We even offered to pay. Small minded and petty. Disappointing even more as they are a camping and caravan site, of which we are actually membersView all reviews by fivi1
Toilets and showers modern and clean.View all reviews by 1867pw
2 minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the shops and pubs.
Used the bus service on sunday which turned out to be free.
Club house served a decent pint and not expensive like some club houses can be.
£47.50 for 3 nights
A great site. Large and very clean. Immaculate shower block. Very friendly staff. Site accessed to right of petrol station which also sells gas bottles. Our pitch was back to back with 10ft banking with beach on the other side. Very handy to keep October sea breeze off you.View all reviews by redlightning
5 minutes walk into town via main road or cutting onto beach. A few gift shops and a couple of mini marts for supplies. Some nice pubs including the Harbourmasters next to the harbour. If you want to meet the locals try the Prince of Wales. The beer is cheaper also.
Great site well run and managed. Loads of facilities for touring units. Outdoors pools were perfect for us to cool down in after long journey. The pitches are all located in a large field but well marked out. Toilet blocks large and great free showers just could do with a few more at busy times only 3 showere in each of the bathrooms.View all reviews by nigel018
A static site with an area for tourers. Access to ‘beach’ via a set of steps in one corner to a footpath which also goes to the town, which can also be reached easily from the main entrance. Plenty of clean toilets, showers, washing up sinks etc. Drive over grey waste point plus normal grey and black waste points. There is no shop in site but a garage at the site entrance has a small Convenience store. Plenty of space for kids to play, tennis & basketball court, swimming pool, clubhouse etc.View all reviews by mrtravellingbear
Family run, well organised site. Statics on site, these are owner occupied, not rentals. Smallish pitches clearly marked, enough space for motorhome & awning, any other vehicles have to be parked at front of pitch as not enough space. 2 heated outdoor swimming pools, 1 paddling pool, sun loungers. 2 club rooms, small gym, indoor play area for under 6's. tennis courts (free racket loan) pirate ship in large sand area for children. 5 min stroll along seafront to town. Special offers on web.View all reviews by wefsmum
