Great location opposite the green in a picturesque coastal village and port. The Sloop Inn is also opposite. Price will vary according to season - we paid £15 inc EHU (cash only). Note Jenny has had some no-shows - please let her know if you can't make it so someone else can have a pitch. Pitches are tight so anything over 8 metres might struggle. Clean public toilets very close by and there is a hose on site (NOT drinking water)View all reviews by DeeVee
A nice quiet place from which to explore the stunning coastal walks either side of Porthgain but a little tricky getting down and back up a one way track with passing places if you're over 7m. Water and electricity on hand and Jenny helpful in finding the parking spot and with local information.View all reviews by magnard
Stopped again for 3 nights. As wonderful as usual .. Sloop in good for breakfast from 9.30 and evening meals good. The Shed Cafe is superb, having attained mentions in the Michelin guide for many years.View all reviews by suppersready
My motorhome is just under 8 mtrs and I had no problems getting into bating house space. Electric and water available all year and welcomes late arrivals, just pay in the Sloop when open.
Our motor home at 7.5m was too long for the bays described so we parked on the left near the harbour along with two other camper vansView all reviews by lynnandian
I looked around but couldn’t find any official parking restriction signs.
The Sloop Inn is a great pub with friendly staff serving lovelly meals.
There’s a nice short walk along the coastal path looking at the old quarry workings.
This listing needs clarification. There is no overnight parking in the public lot and there is no dump out as icon indicates. There is a decent public toilet that is open 24 hours. I submitted photos to help others find the small private area where you can overnight park for 15 pounds with electricity. Pay inside The Sloop Inn, which has some great old photos of this interesting area. Pick up the free brochure to learn about the industrial history here too.View all reviews by SunnyHarvy
Basically a spot between two sheds, however this is favourable to keep sheltered from the weather and afford some privacy. Tiny village is lovely with two eateries, the Sloop Inn and a Café. I ate at the Café and can recommend the Turbot in wild mushroom and dill sauce, fairly expensive but superb. Sloop inn Brekkie from 9.30 very good. view score marked down because there really isn't one from the pitch.View all reviews by suppersready
Pictures seem to show a difference in pricing !. I was charged £15 per night inc EHU, maybe this is the late season price ?View all reviews by suppersready
Great idea, little tucked away spot with hook up and close to clean public toilets. Run by the ice cream shop, we stayed for a night in our camper and found it to be peaceful overnight. Right opposite the pub too!View all reviews by joncorry
Great spot, opposite the pub and next to the harbour, easy to hook up, water easily accessible and next to public toilets so no need to use the van. Will use again when I need electric.View all reviews by jezwalts
