Free parking, NO OVERNIGHT PARKING IN BOTH CARPARKS. right next to the lake lots of the walks seem to be along the road

No longer allowed to park overnight. We were moved on by the park warden at 8pm. There is patking for a few campers on the other side of the resevoir. Parking for boat hire, but apparenly the oener in happy for his parking atea to br used at night.
Beautiful spot.

young couple with kids. roads on the approach to this car park were busy but that is to be expected on a sunny bank holiday weekend. entrance to the car park is a tight squeeze but I managed it with relative ease. was more difficult to exit than enter but this was due in part to some inconsiderate "parking" by 1 car. very little in the way of facilities here, not even a bin ! we didn't stay over night as there was no phone signal or TV signal at all. not ideal when you have 3 kids, hence we moved on.

The parking spot closest to the lake is only day parking.
There is a raised area on the opposite side of the road where you can park overnight but it might be difficult to access with a large motorhome.
An alternative is a layby approx 500m east which is quite large.
