stayed friday saturday and sunday for race the waves-steampunk weekend,a dozen other van there but car park is huge.used tescos toilets as they are 24hrs. the telegraph pub is a 6 or 7 mins walk towards old town,cracking place, locals friendly.View all reviews by doogle

Arrived 15.30. Paid for full day and this gave me a ticket to 15.30 the following day so no getting up to feed meter early. Plenty of room and generous bays at railway side of cp. Tesco next door to cp.View all reviews by Whinnie
Lot of other Van's there (20+) so felt safe. Thats all the positive points.
Good enough for an overnight stop but then get out and don't look back.

A spacious former coach park. Toilets locked overnight were clean servicable with paper. Tesco next door. Trucks use the park as well. Peaceful overnight , a bit noisy in the morning as the town wakes up. Town centre is 5 mins walk. Paid £2.20 for 3 hours on arrival and 60p for an hour after 8am the following morning.View all reviews by allani

We stayed here Friday the 11th January and can confirm even tho all the councils websites/google saying the car park is permanently shut, it's still open! Bit of a faf to pay as the machine won't accept cards or coins when we visited and had to pay via text. We were the only vehicle there till lunchtime Saturday.View all reviews by jamesc76

We stayed here on Sunday night and the payment machine was not accepting either coins or cards. We paid using the text option, details of which are on the machine. Easy to use but they charge 10p admin fee lolView all reviews by skatingpoptom

Stayed here Saturday night very close to town centre Tesco next door 3 other vans as well us large car park with very long bays at the back of the car park any size motorhome will fit in the baysView all reviews by keith2302
