Set amongst trees overlooking farmland. Quiet wooded site conveniently located a short distance from the N IV/E5. Suitable for staying for some time to relax. Level grounds with sufficiently shaded pitches. The 'Batalla de Las Navas de Tolosa' museum in Sta Elena is most interesting. It shows a scene from a historical battle between the Christians and the Moors in 1212.

We stayed 3 nights, our second visit. We were lucky to get a sunny plot but most are in trees. You have to be careful to select the right shower to use as some are cold, but get the right ones and they are up there with the best. The resident azure-winged magpies are very tame and entertaining. We had a fabulous drive up to the Cascada de Cimbarra on our scooter, which is stunning. We were not allowed the Acsi rate because we had a scooter with us!

Only used it as a one night stopover, there are a lot of trees on site so if it rains prepare for a lot of roof noise. The Wi-Fi is the best we have ever had a netlix film downloaded in 3-4 min unbelievable. No idea what there is around the site and the man on reception spoke hardly any english and the entrance is a little tight to get through but not too bad. Woukd certainly use it again if it was on route.

Stayed here 2 nights for 2nd time. Friendly owner who prefers cash, €18 per night with ACSI, electric included, also, each pitch has own tap and grey waste disposal.
Hot showers and toilets with no seats. Good WiFi at no extra cost.
Locals are very welcoming despite speaking very little English. El Meson Hotel is close to camp site and a nice place to eat and drink.
Highly recommend little grocery shop near the hotel. The old lady who owns shop lives across the road, and pops over and opens shop if she sees customers when shop is officially closed, and she sells everything at reasonable prices.
The Despenaperros Gorge & Canyon Natural Park is stunning.

Lovely site on the A4 towards Granada and the South. Level pitches , though some manouvering may be necessary due to trees. Excellent wifi throughout the site. Very hot powerful showers. Friendly owner but with little English. We would definitely stay again as a stopover. This site is in a National Park and there may be much more to see and do around the area, than our one night allowed.

Town has a couple of shops and a bars. Site chosen because of proximity to north / south motorway for overnight stop. Older style facilities. Washing up area I would not use.

A lovely location with good facilities apart from the potwash which was, frankly, minging. The local area is great for walking and mountain biking, the Meson bar just outside the campsite is great to go and eat at or just for a beer. Unfortunately all let down by the potwash.

Good stopover for a couple of nights. Had a basic swimming pool which was welcomed for relief from the heat. Large site with shade. Good for a breather

A nice campsite set on the edge of a national park with good views and close to the A4 motorway. Set amongst trees with electric and water on pitch. Wash blocks reasonable but was odd to find all toilets without seats. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent location for a stopover if heading north or south. Wifi on all site is reasonably fast.
